The new upvc fascias and upvc soffits are very much cheaper in the long run as they last unto 40 years with out any maintenance. The wooden fascias and soffits couldn’t be guaranteed against any thing as they are vulnerable to elements. On top of that they need regular maintenance as the sun light will fade the paint in a short while. Being maintenance free itself is a saving as the maintenance will cost a lot. Another cost cutting property of the upvc fascias and upvc soffits is its color. Though the wooden fascias and soffits need to be painted regularly the new once are never painted.
