Mungo Money V2

Mungo Money was a powerful, yet easy to maintain website built to help promote UK finance affiliate products such as UK Credit Cards and UK Personal Loans.

The site design needed to be attractive and yet unobtrusive to allow customers to browse the inventory of credit cards, personal loans and saving accounts, presenting critical information clearly and encouraging click-throughs with attention grabbing graphics.

A key factor in the design of the Mungo Money Version 2 website was that it become search engine optimised to increase it’s exposure to the UK search engines. Vandelay set about analysing Mungo Money’s code and compiling an exhaustive list of keywords for which Mungo Money should be search optimised for i.e. a list of related terms that would drive converting traffic to the Mungo Money website. Mungo’s code was then systematically improved and reworked, opening up the website to the popular UK search engines.

At time of writing, the website attracts well over 100 unique users per day via Organic Search (non Pay Per Click Traffic) and ranks well for long-tail search terms such as:

Mungo Money attracts users from all of the major UK search engines including Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ask. Mungo Money was redesigned in November 2007 to improve site management, refresh the site’s design and to incorporate Google Pay Per Click traffic management.
